How To Root & Installing CWM recovery on Asus Zenfone 2 (ZE500CL/ZE550ML/ZE551ML) No PC

METHODS 1

Follow my rooting instruction No PC :

1. Download and install KingRoot.apk from this link : DOWNLOAD HERE
Note : If you can’t install KingRoot.apk, Open Settings app>>Security>>enable the “Unknown sources” option. You can installing MasterRoot Now
2. Once the app’s been installed, launch it from your App Drawer.
3. Select Install SuperSU from the first dropdown menu.
4. Select exploit, tap on it in the app.
5. The app should begin rooting your device, shouldn’t take too long to finish.
6. Reboot your device once it’s been rooted.
7. You’re all done! Excellent! You’ve successfully rooted your Asus Zenfone 2 and you should now be able to see the SuperSU app in your App Drawer! Enjoy 🙂

METHODS 2

Follow my rooting and installing TWRP instruction on PC  :

Prepare :

 

Step 1. Create a folder called “ADB” in the PC, then unzip / extract file CWM Zenfone 2 Intel that has been downloaded earlier into the folder.

Step 2. Copy SuperSU.zip into SD-Card

Step 3. Enable USB debugging on Zenfone 2 “Open Settings> Developer Options> USB debugging”

Step 4. Connect Your Asus Zenfone 2  to PC using a USB cable, and your phone will appear popup ” Allow USB Debugging? “, click OK on the popup.

 

Step 5. Open the CWM folder on your desktop and Double click on cai_dat_CWM.bat  file to run the recovery installer tool to start installing the CWM recovery on Zenfone 2.

Step 6. Now Type ACCEPT and then hit the enter key in the command prompt window.

Step 7. Type T4 and then hit the enter key to begin flashing of CWM recovery.

Step 8. Once the CWM is installed your Zenfone 2 will boot in CWM recovery mode automatically.

Step 9. Choose Install zip from sd card option and then select the root package file UPDATE-SuperSU-v2.46.zip (from step 2).

Step 10. Select Yes on next screen to confirm flashing of the root. And after that Reboot your phone, Done.

Congrutalation Your Zenfone 2 has been Rooted 🙂

  1. Sir i use 2 method with pc but supersu always says update failed and restart i after then i again try to update but it always says update failed
